When you surf eBay and other websites, do you have "javascript" turned off?

I do. I get tired of all the popup ads and banners everywhere.

Something else is that on eBay, I'll be looking at an item, and the virtual screen is scrolled way off to the right side due to the footer that says " Find more items from the same seller. Bid or Buy Now!"

Very annoying to me, and I was wondering what others think.

Oh, I also turn OFF "Flash Player", as I REALLY can't stand all the junk advertising that produces!

One of the features built in to my security/antivirus is that Java and Flash are turned off by default. I like it that way.

The best thing I've found for having an enjoyable experience while online is using Firefox in conjunction with running the Adblock Plus extension. As a matter of fact, I use FireFox (love it!), but I may try that "Adbock Plus". Thanks for the tip!
