Any consequences to Reholdering?

If you get a coin reholderd, will the same i.d. number be used?

If a coin is CAC certified and the coin is reholdered, will NGC transfer the CAC sticker to the new holder?

Dear Michael,

 

If a coin is reholdered in the same type of holder, the certification number will NOT change. If a coin is reholdered from single to multi, the cert. # WILL change. If a coin is regraded, the cert. # WILL change.

 

Any coin that is removed from its old holder and put into a new holder will loose the CAC sticker.
