I appears to have some "white stuff" growing on it.

I attached some pictures. Do I send it in?

What's the next step?

I would, of course, not be able to say for certain without actually seeing the piece in person. We have had success in removing similar appearing substances from Civil War Tokens in the past. Your coin would then be regraded with NGC following the conservation.
