Lighting Anomalie or CAMEO possibility - 1951 Proof Washington

Not a great picture but whaddya think ... This is the only picture I have maybe a star possiblity if not a cameo on the reverse ...

I don't know... There MIGHT be a SLIGHT chance for a cameo based on those images. There appears that there could be a frost break around Washington's jaw line and into his upper neck, but that could also be an artifact of the image.

It's possible that the obverse is a cameo piece, but if the reverse is not also a cameo, it does not mean much. One sided cameo Proofs are interesting, but the market price premium for them does not amount to much.

Thanks guys.

The coin is in a really strong proof set. It is heavily toned a rich dark brown around the rims covering the frost in the lettering, but the frost is all there.

Check out the dime from the same set. This one is a lock DCAM even with the strong toning.
