Well I finally bought some gold directly from the mint. ouch, what a dummy move. Not only were the proof coins awful looking, 70s? ha not even 68's in my eyes. I am not trying for 70's, just nice coins. Not to mention the capsule on one was cracked and broke off!

 

They will go back for I guess replacments. I should just get in exchange Bald eagle commem. silver dollars. These things stink.

 

I hope my plat set didnt look like this. $150 for grading and shipping. What a pricey hobby this is. But a fun one.

 

 

anyone else have this problem lately???

i am not sure if i should return for new ones or exchange for something different. the reason i got them was everything else was pulled due to price increases in PM's. i figured jump while they are cheap.
