Small spot of Verdigis on Indian Cent

Is it worth sending such a coin into NCS for evaluation and possible conservation? Coin is otherwise in excellent shape other than this green dot on the Indian's cheek.

We have had success in at least reducing the appearance of small corrosion spots ore even removing them all together on copper coins such as yours. Without seeing your coin, of course, I would not be able to comment on specifically how successful we may be. Thinking of the coin as a piece of my own, if the blemish is the first thing I notice when looking at the coin, then it is certainly worth the effort and expense of submitting for professional conservation.
