Sorry, Harvey, but I can't find it in any of my token books. Probably your best bet is to email a picture to Rich Hartzog. If anyone can help you, it would be Rich.

 

And, if you will, let us know what you find out. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

Thank you very much I have also been looking and can not find anything. This was in with my Grandparents coins. There was also a bunch of other tokens for railways and such.

Finally found something. Larry was right - it is a slot machine token, used from the 1890's to the 1940's, according to Alpert/Elman "to get around anti-gambling laws or for security or psychological reasons (players more readily replay tokens than coins)."

 

The book is from 1992, so the values given (between 10 & 25 cents) are outdated.
