One coin, four images, four apparent grades. Anyone who can grade accurately from pictures is a far better man than I (shrug)

 

Incidentally, the apparent parallel hairlines on the obverse in the "halogen" picture are a little disconcerting. What do they look like in hand?

you know, I saw this coin last night...

 

and Merry Christmas everyone!!!

and figured I'd check it out again in the morning...

 

...after I open up all my presents....

 

 

...and comment about what I thought of that very pretty coin

 

 

...alas, it's dissapeared hm

 

but I will say that, yes, it looked wiped, but I loved the look of this coin...at least from the photos....

Comparing the coin photographed under different lighting conditions was very educational. I must have come back to this post a dozen times last night just to view and compare the pictures. Wish I had saved it.
