In a description of a multiple-coin lot, in what order should they be described?

Suppose you are reading an auction item description, or just an ad in a coin magazine, and it lists more than one coin for sale as a lot. Would you want to see the coins listed in denomination order? Order of value? Date order? Or does it even matter?

For the record, I usually list them in denomination order, highest to lowest.

I am interested in your opinion. Thanks in advance!

I would prefer to see them listed in denomination order, lowest first, and within denomination by date, and then with in date by grade, always lowest first. The one way I absolutely would not want to see them listed would be by value - What a disorganized mess!

I would list them in denominational order in most cases. However, in the event that one coin was considerably rarer/more valuable than the others I would likely make an exception.

Edited to add: Wrong forum. :baiting:
