Looks very familiar... :hi:

Coin looks VF 35 - IMHO - I knew I should've kept it. :o

Glad to see you over here, Beancounter.

I can now see RLD15 calling you if his raw submission gets a GEN

instead of a grade !!

I thought that large image 1901-S looked too nice for a VF 25

then again, I didn't own it long enough to memorize all its nuances.

Your large image looks a minimum VF 35.

Here's an old friend that I sold to Tombr in November 2008

and repurchased from him this year...

Yup!

He's got the one I am waiting on.... just waiting on it getting graded...

Oh, I can't access Teletrade from work, but I did snag that XF40 06-O Dime from last night's sale.

Like I said, I do like your Liberty Nickels.. I think I want a set of them in AU myself.

For those of you who don't pay attention ATS... someone just found themselves an 1892-o Half. Yep, a Micro O and it graded Good, which is pretty decent, especially since most of these are Fair-AG.

Jim Dimmick found this coin in an album with other raw Barber Halves.

Jim's one of the good guys and I'm very happy for him.

RLD15 - you need that coin for your set.

RLD15...

Finding a Micro O in VF is a very tough project.

Maybe you can pry this one out of some one's set ... lol

Beancounter, what byrne3 has just shown us is

something we've all heard before, natural daylight

is the best resource for imaging.

Nice job, byrne3, and I expect your two halves hold

a special place in your collection.

I just had one of my Grandfather's coins sent in for

grading...a choice 1892 Half in that I would have

conservatively graded AU 55. It was deemed to have

artifical surfaces.

I'll add that coin's image later on tonight.

I just added my raw coins that were

recently graded to my 2nd tier set of

Barber Dimes.

Check them out !!

Images will be attached within a week or so

as they are all at the photographer now.

Fifteen years in a Dansco has created some

real monster toned coins !!
