Continuing Education on Mercury Dime Doubling

Just for my info, is this just mechanical doubling or an actual extra strike or what on this 1935D dime?

Machine doubling......see how the secondary numbers form like a shelf off the right side.......that's the dead giveaway. If the numbers to the right were the same height as the originals.......you have a Double Die (thumbs u

It is machine doubling. Notice the shelf, as kryptonite mentioned. I find it even more useful myself to note the lack of notching - there is no separation on the numerals.
