brown spot removal from a Buffalo Nickel

Hello,

I have a 1913 P TI Buffalo Nickel with some brown and black carbon spots(I assume). I have attached a photo. Can NCS do anything to remove some or all of these spots? Thank you for your time.

It is difficult to determine what might be causing these spots from the image. Some spots my be removed safely yet others, particularly on nickels, may be the first stages of corrosion. If these spots are the begining stages of corrosion, these spots may be removed or may only be reduced and stunted from progressing further.
