1922 P Lincoln Wheat Cent

I have this coin that is either a 1922 P but since it's in so low grade the D might have worn off. I took several scans and wanted to get your opion. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you can see the 'D' mintmark if you look closely. This is just a well worn 1922 D Lincoln.

I think that it would be worth while to send it in to NGC if there is any doubt. You have little to loose and lots to gain if its genuine.

Only if you know what you're doing!! What is best to take off verdigris? Acetone, olive oil, mineral oil?
