1971 D, 1977 D Kennedy's struck on 40% planchets

they're mentioned in the redbook, and i'm looking for info on them... how much they typically go for, how many are estimated to exist, etc.. any info would be great. know where i can buy one?

I believe there about 6 known of the '77-D.

 

There are none of the '71-D's but many are rumored.

It's best to try the Heritage archives.

 

They had a 1971-D sell for $6000 and change in their 9-03 sale, lot 9609.

 

A 77-D was in their 1-07 sale, lot 7655, selling for $6,900. One in their 1-05 sale, lot 8068 went for $3700 and change.
