I'm thinking of building a copy stand, so I've been looking around on the internet to see if I can find some plans/ideas. I thought this webpage deserved a link if anyone's interested:

And what size are "little ones", Jr.? Are they large enough to use in coin photography? I've never seen one at Wally World is the reason I ask.

That would probably work well for a lighter camera, but probably not for a big heavy SLR with a large macro lens.

 

I'm in need of a very sturdy, very heavy stand that will keep my camera steady. I shoot with the Nikon D70, which is an excellent camera body with an unfortunate lack of a mirror lock-up function.
