Good eye finding that sweet little half on Ebay, you have to wade through a lot of trash to find a cool coin like that there.

 

Better than the VF25 on the slab, check out my 1839 half in my type, your half looks just like it but is 15 points lower. hm

 

Actually your new half would look great next to mine; they both have the same tone and crusty appearance.

 

 

 

One of us must sell to the other so these two reeded edge bust halves can be together as they should be. :insane: :insane: :insane:

Sweet coin! The 1837 is tougher to find nice in middle grades than one might expect from the mintage. Congrats!
