1921 Morgan VAM help

I have a 1921 p morgan that has heavy pitting in front of libertys nose and some by the stars. Any one know what this is and potential worth?

You can go to Vamworld and click on Morgan VAM's by date in the left pane and then select the P beside of 1921 and it will show you the VAM's for that date and mint.

Depends on how you're using the word "pitting." If you're referring to a pitted die, where the pits are raised from the surface of the coin, it bears further looking. I don't remember any 1921P VAM's with pitting in front of the profile, but I could be wrong.

 

If the pitting is incuse, into the surface of the coin, it's likely post-mint damage. Can you possibly provide a picture?
