Has any of you ever purchased anything from them? And if so how was your purchasing experience?

I've done business with Sarasota Rare Coin Galleries at shows on a few occasions. And, while I don't know them well, they have some nice coins and are pleasant and easy to deal with.

Sarasota Rare Coin is one of the better-known dealers on the mid west coast of Florida. I have done business with them, and they are very good people.

 

They are tied to Mid-American Coin Company, which means they do have a strong financial presence.

I bought one rather pricey (for me) coin from them some time ago for a client, and it was a good no-problem transaction.
