Need a few opinions

The coin has been dipped which explains the white color. Is the rim damage you think you see above the 10th star? If it is, it's not bad, but it might be dicey to cross it if that's what you have in mind.

Overall it looks to be decent coin, but remember, even back in the old days coins ended up in ANACS holders for a reason. Dipping a minor damage were probably the reasons here.

I'm not crazy about the coin, but I will tell you that the seller is misinformed if he/she believes this is an old ANACS holder. This is actually the newest version of the holder.

The Gray Sheet bid/ask range is $300 to $330. This is the type of coin that sells for that given the issues noted. The dealer buy price would be 10 to 20 percent in back of that. The seller is not wrong to ask that kind of money, but it's not the bargain of the decade either.

Tom please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the "new" ANACS holder:

Lee,Tom is correct, ANACS uses the older sized holders with the blue inserts for their Problem coins... Damaged ,Cleaned ,AT, ETC, ETC

I really liked the coin so I didn't notice the newer holder, this is one of the older holders.
