  1. Man the photo ain’t even close to looking like nothing real but like I said before I’m 💯positive it’s the coin I’m saying and I wish I had the results already because when I do I think it’s gonna get really quiet around here after that but only just a matter of time.
  2. Ok so under what error or variety should I summit it under and how valuable you think this coin may be worth, just a rough number?
  3. Im positive its that coin sent it to NGC to get graded since last Wednesday and arrived on Thursday 9:14 am and submission was done for a 3 day turn around Walkthrough and over a week and a half later and status is still sitting on Received but was told I would receive coin back before the end of this week. Every minute that goes by feels like a week seriously but hopefully the grading process start today and get my coin before the end of this week.
  4. When I found the coin it was with other coins around it but seemed weird to me that only that coin had what I thought at the moment like maybe dark brown like auto paint or something but only that coin and got left behind in my pants and a day later I noticed it was on top of the washer so I grabbed it and figured I’d try scabbing it off to see what kind of coin or token it was but really hard and my wife was telling me that looks like copper what I was scabbing off is what she said and I remember responding to her “ ha ha when have you ever seen or heard of a coin scabbing off copper, it has to be something else” and kept kind of scabbing it off because I still couldn’t see what it was and finally noticed it was a 1943 steel cent but was curious about what was melted over the coin since it looked like copper and didn’t match none of the 1943 steel cents and after a while of researching on line I came across the 1943 bronze coated cent and did comparison and got exact match and that’s how I found out that it a 1943 No mint mark Lincoln Wheat 1C Bronze coated. Kind of was in shock when I noticed the value of one of those coins but before I could get to excited i decided to summit it to Heritage Auction for an appraisal review and sure enough they to me to take coin to a local coin dealer which I did to have an in person inspection to make sure it was real so I did and they said ok now get it graded with recommend NGC and they would sell it for me.
  5. No other coin matches my coin except the 1943 bronze coated.
  6. Look at all the details around his hair, around his face the sharpness around the whole coin and especially the date
  7. This is my1943 Lincoln Wheat cent. Yo what coin does it match too?
  8. This is the 1943 Bronze coated cent
  9. All I ask is to look at the angles and shape of the date and details of the coin and please compare it to the genuine 1943 bronze coated and also compare to the 1943 steel and let me know what you see?
  10. The same exact photos I posted up here are the same photos I dummied to everyone else have seen and for whatever reason can’t seem to get anyone's to understand that it’s a 1943 Bronze Coated but of course most of it came off due to the fire. Only person that recognized the coin with the exact same photos I submitted was Heritage Auction and literally to me to have it graded and they would sell it for me. Trust me Heritage won’t even bother with items worth less than 5k-10k depending on items and 1943 regular steel cents are practically only worth face value even if graded unless it’s a really high grade.
  11. Ha ha ha, too funny. Iv been in this game for roughly about a month an a half and have been studying and learning nonstop about mainly and mostly Lincoln 1C’s. Still got a lot more too learn but I guess you much not know much about the 1943 cents just by what your saying. I had 3 appraisals on line tell me exactly what your saying and even a coin dealer in person inspected and also said that the same thing and before he could let me talk he said he would bet me 10k that it was only a regular steel 1943 cent and said he had about a bucket full of them so I told him before we make a bet, compare my steel coin to as many coins you got in your bucket and i guarantee you my coin doesn’t look like none of the coins so he got a few hand full on his steel coins and started comparing my coin to his and noticed all of his coin looked the same and my coin looked different and didn’t even know how yo response after that and just said well sometimes coins come out different. Ha Ha Ha. I said not compare it to the 1943 no mint mark Lincoln Wheat 1C Bronze Coated from on line so he did and then responded “well maybe it could be the coin but there’s a lot of fakes out there”. lol, I said, you still wanna bet 10k?? Finally just said I should consider sending it for grading.
  12. Also at first was thinking the same thing and wondering about the line that look like scratches but it really isn’t scratching. I was checking it out with my coin microscope and also the other coin I saw on eBay was exactly like this one. I guess if you were to see it in person you would notice that it was an error because everything looks as if the coin was supposed to have be done that way. Actually me and my brother were sorting out some coins and I’m the one that came across it but didn’t even put it apart because at first just thought it was just a different design or something until my brother grab the coin and told me to take a second look at it and should consider having graded because he thought it was a nice error coin and got a better closer look at it and noticed it was an error coin but figured I’d mention it to you guys and see what you’d recommend first.
  13. Was not purposely done. Outside of rim is slick and as a matter of fact about a week ago I saw one exactly like this coin on EBay.
  14. Found this coin near a minor house fire but most of the bronze coating scab off and darker brown spots are not rust but the bronze coating, coin has absolutely no damage whatsoever. Does not match any steel 1943 cent but it’s identical to the 1943 Lincoln Wheat 1C Bronze Coated and yes it sticks to a magnet.
  15. Sorry for just jumping into this conversation you guys have going but why does the whole world keep saying that if a 1943 Lincoln wheat sticks to a magnet it’s a fake coin?? That’s not true because the 1943 that were struck in bronze stick to magnet. Just saying because believe it or not I personally found one of those coins myself.
  16. Ok so after sorting out some coins I had I happened to come across this 1988 D Lincoln Wheat 1C that seems to me like a Doubled Die on Obverse and Reverse sides but tried looking it up but there’s not a DD for the year. Looked at it from all different angles and I see it every single time but is this a DD worth grading and or is it considered a DD??
  17. Was wondering if this coin would be worth getting grading?
  18. So the coin I submitted to you guys is what I feel personally really confident is a 1943 no mint mark Lincoln Wheat 1C Steel Bronze Coated. Ok so coin was found near minor house fire on a property me and my wife we’re looking to purchase but really don’t remember the exact location because we looked at so many properties but it’s in the area of where I live now. Total had found maybe around 15 coins around there and most coins were just covered with burnt smoke but 3 of them had something a bit harder over the coins but just really didn’t mess with them and ended up some how on top of washer and noticed them before I was about to shower the next day so figured I’d rinse them off but 2 of them only had like a bit of candle wax over them which was easy to remove but last coin had what looked at the time like maybe dark brown auto paint or something but figured it was weird because I start to think how only that coin was like that and being surrounded with other coins. After a few hours trying to see what kind of coin it was or if it was even a coin, noticed it was a 1943 steel cent and kind of got excited until i started searching what those coins were worth which was average about face value but noticed even though it was a steel cent, it did not match to any steel cent that I could find on line continued searching even more because was curious about the material that was all over just that coin and what I pulled up was that there was a few 1943 steel Lincoln Wheat cent stuck in error that year and only a Denver had ever been discovered years ago.
  19. Could sent pictures if you’d like and describe exactly what it was submitted for if you’d like?
  20. Hello, had submitted a coin for the first time and do realize I did a few mistakes on submission form but corrected as soon as I was notified and submission was sent as a Walkthrough but it’s been over a week and status still on received and was wondering why? Sent it in as mint error and hope it was the right option.
