  1. I bought this coin in San Antonio over 40 years ago and kept it in a Capitol holder. I have been sending coins in for grading for the last 18 months. It is time to start letting some coins go so I felt that getting them graded would help the process.
  2. Then please explain "the Mint has gone woke" comment.
  3. I would like to comment that @EagleRJO makes me feel very unwelcome on the newbie forum with his "woke" comments about the US Mint including women of color on US Coins. This should not be a place for openly racist comments. I would think that a forum on an NGC site would do better.

  4. They may not do anything, but I am going to ask.
  5. If you guys don't know who the women on the coins are maybe you should be the ones doing a search. Coins are meant to be educational. Having people of color should not scare you. These forums are for everyone, and everyone should feel included. I hope the moderators and NGC feel the same way.
  6. I was hoping you would give me your insight since you posted it. Don't be shy. I love coin collecting and feel that political comments should stay off of the forums.
  7. I'm sorry. Not familiar with the term "woke". Can you explain it to me. How exactly does it apply to coin collecting?
