So here are some pic’s of my coin..
-
-
I mean the coin is from the 1800’s anything is possible.., but it’s a really nice coin and with a grade like that how do you put a price on it is my real question? I believe only 600 were minted so I’m excited to even have one..
-
Hi there..,So I sent in a 1873 closed 3 coin to get graded and it came back as Proof Details Altered Color… What ?? How do you even put a price on something like that.. I’m really tempted to sending it back for a 2nd opinion because I don’t feel the color was altered. It’s a beautiful coin you can read and see all details with the naked eye.. I don’t know what to do because the NGC takes months to grade a coin and I’m looking to sell my collection of coins..

Thank you all so very much.. I think it’s pretty cool myself 😊

Thank you.. I can take better pictures tomorrow.., I don’t want to mess with the coin much.. It wasn’t only the appearance of the coin but also because of the 1955 and the O on the back of the coin that caught my attention. I also have a 1909 S VDB it’s a pretty cool coin I’m going to submit that one soon I just have difficulty trying to figure out a value..

Hi there I have 2 Lincoln Wheat pennies I want to send in for certification but not sure if it would be worth it.. I’ve been collecting for 7 years now but I just recently started getting my coins certified. So I’ll put up some pictures to see what y’all think.. Any advice would be nice.. Thank you..

I am not knowledgeable on this cent. I do know that it is not a very common coin and one in that nice condition is hard to find. There are many counterfeit examples out there ? So I can not say one way or the other . I would post it in the newbie tread and see if one of the old timers can confirm its authenticity. Good Luck , MoM Boss

I believe you have a very desirable coin.
I’m not an expert at this series but there are many here who are. Thanks for posting. I will learn with you 😉 -
I have the book but for some reason I can’t tell them apart from the one I have. They all look the same to me.
