My ducat is there now. It was either a glitch in the database or is just got entered. Either way, thanks to all who participated in the thread.

Ok, I get it. Would be funny though if Dariusz Jasek's volume two of his award-winning Netherlands Gold Ducats bible comes out with my coin as the plate coin, but no mention in the census even though it's identified as certified by NGC. Thanks for the info.

The use of GB vs KM numbers seems to be about 50-50 in the sources I have found. The revolutionary coinage by definition was also counterfeit as well. Anyway, I will get the book, sounds like its the source of info I need. Thanks!

Is there a valuation, rarity, etc. guide for Mexico revolutionary coinage? I have an MS condition Mexico-Chihuahua 5 centavo that has been assigned a "GB 34" variety designation (it is currently going through conservation before final grading and slabbing), and I have no clue other than an image on the web of what that means. Turns out NGC does not use KM catalog numbers for these. ??

Does anyone recognize this counterstamp? Somebody put CL 40 on an 1885 Argentina 2 centavo copper, but I have been completely stumped trying to trace it to its origin. I don't even know if the counterstamp was applied in Argentina or somewhere else. ??

I ordered a replacement glass for this aviation clock a few weeks ago. Because it is a Russian clock, I could only find it from an Ukrainian seller on eBay, who was not advertising it, but found one in stock when I asked. The mule finally showed up yesterday sporting stickers on its butt from a bunch of east european countries.

Puerto Rico never had its own money. They had a lot of counter stamped coinage, like everyone else in the Caribbean, and the coins we generally know as Isla de Puerto Rico were issued by Spain in 1895, when the island was on the path to becoming independent. And now of course we have the only US quarters with Spanish-language text.

The US Virgin Islands is an incorporated territory. Just means they are one step ahead of the rest towards statehood (not that I advocate that).
