As a fan of Barber's Commemoratives, I sometimes think they are under-appreciated as some of America's earliest commemorative coinage. His 1900 Lafayette Dollar is perhaps my favorite with the exceptional portraits of George Washington and the marquis de Lafayette on the obverse. Enjoy this example...
