If you zoom in and then turn sideways it looks like a pair of eyes. Possibly a nail set but I would think it would be more of J a hole without the center piece. š¤ unless something was stuck in the die when it was struck. Sky's the limit.Ā

Thanks at least I'm not alone in thisĀ you would think that because this is different from the rest that there would be mention of it. Even though not rare seems to me that it should be separated or at the very least mentioned.Ā Like the bicentennial for example. Makes me wonder what the mintage was for that year. š¤Ā

Thanks, I wonder why I couldn't find it online though. I would think that it would show up. Even when I Google pictured and it still didn't come up.

Is it specific for this year not to have a number on it? Because I haven't found any of these coins that don't have a number on it. Trying to figure out why this one does not or if this is just normal. For that year.

I have a 1921 wheat penny that is gold toned but I know that it's not gold. It doesn't look like it was plated under the microscope. What could cause it to look this way. Environmental? Different metal mix in planchet?Ā

I have a 1974 Eisenhower dollar. That has 2 round marks on the reverse. I'm thinking possibly a strike through. What are all of your thoughts?
