  1. No, not really. I am sure I am making it more difficult then it actually is. Most of it seems pretty self explanatory. But all together it seems very confusing. For instance number 3 covers shipping. I have no accounts with FedEx or any other carrier. So I will be using USPS. But it says calculate on cover sheet? Also I am not sure how to purchase insurance for them to send it back to me? Number 5. Says NCS conservation services. I have no clue what that means. Tuff like that, that are probably simple but just not sure because I have never done it before.
  2. Hello, I am new to NGC and I want to submit a few coins. I have down loaded some forms, however I am having issues with some of it. I don’t know what’s, what, and what I need. Not sure what everything means. I know NGC has a help line, and I called it. But they don’t help I ended up having to leave a message, and no one called back. I was wondering if there is someone in one of these forms that would be willing to call me and walk me through the paper work?
  3. Thanks. I collect basically anything US currency. Paper, copper, silver, gold, or other. Such as errors, anything obscure that attracts my attention old or other wise. I have taken a liking to the very old, and the very new. My most recent purchase was 3 of the 2021 W proof ASEs! I became interested in coin collecting about 20, maybe 25 years ago. I found my first coin a 1908 Barber quarter while I was deer hunting. I was actually leaving my tree stand and walking across a wheat field. It was early fall and the wheat was just recently planted. But out in the middle of this wheat field I saw something shine on the ground. I picked it up and to my surprise it was that quarter, and it was in remarkable condition. That mystified me, and was such an amazing feeling. I could nearly see an old farmer with a horse drawn plow working that field. I remember thinking he pulled a kerchief out of his pocket to wipe his brow, and accidentally pulled that quarter out. It had to be laying there for many years! It’s a wonder it never got hit and ruined by a modern implement. It simply amazed me, and I still feel that amazement today! It still fascinates me how someone who lost a quarter probably 50 to 100 years ago has impacted my life. I truly love history!
  4. You are correct. Nice to meet you, and thanks! 😃
  5. Hey there. Yes. It is still Hutch Juco.. For a club you would ask what fellow?
  6. Hello, my name is Jim. I have been collecting Coins for about 20 years now. Have just recently paid for my NGC membership so I can start doing submissions. I love this hobby, and am becoming more, and more active in it. I am anticipating a time when my life surrounds my interest in numismatics. I am reaching out to others in my area of the world, Hutchinson Kansas. Looking for friends to talk with, compare coins and other collectible silvers, and gold! I want to be part of a coin club, however have not found an active group as of yet! So this is me reaching out to you. I hope to hear from you.
