Here is a list of hoards that I have currently:
Las Vegas Vault Collection, Mapes Casino Hoard, Great Southern Treasury Hoard, GSA Hoard, Continental Bank Hoard, Music City Hoard, Great Montana Hoard, Olothe Hoard, NYC Bank Hoard, Binion Collection, Lincoln Highway Hoard, Redfield Hoard, Fitzgerald Hoard, Patriot Collection, Jules Reiver Collection, Great NW Collection, Wayne Miller Collection. A couple may not be considered Hoards but I like the extra info that is on the coins.

Thanks for the info. I have nearly completed an entire set of hoard Morgans and Peace dollars. There's a few out the for sale but they don't look like true hoards that I'm interested in.

Looking to sell complete set of 1968-2021 US Mint Proof Sets with original sleeves. Over $1,000.00 value for only $800.00 or trade full sets for silver bullion.
Thanks,

Thanks for all the responses!

When cataloging my collection, is it safe to say that proof coins acquired from the US Mint, without being professionally graded, be considered a PF70 until officially graded or Catalog them as a PF69?

They are scheduled to be included with the earlier issues of those coin types. In other words, the Morgan Dollar census will read 1921-S followed by the 2021 dollars.
Thanks for the quick response!

Where will NGC list these coins down the road? Dollars, Morgan, Peace or Commemorative?
-
My guess is that whomever purchased the silver in the eighties held on to them and then had them graded. I guess you can say that for most hoards.

Found a 1883 O NGC MS63. Overpaid for it but it completes my hoard collection.

Thanks Jason for the response. I wasn't planning on selling any since I was just going to pass these on eventually but was concerned that the value was understated in the Red Book if PF70 grades were among the lot and not graded. I guess I'll have to leave some detail instructions/explanations with the collection.

Is it advisable or even worth it to grade early year silver proofs based on the NGC pricing or should I just keep them in the original boxes? Thanks!

I missed one on ebay about a year ago. The link above has a listing but it is already sold. I'm interested in pedigree hoards.
Thanks!

Just the variety was interesting. I really don't see that much of a premium on them though. Btw, I also have a nearly complete run of all dates/mint marks from 1878-1935 with few exceptions.
