  1. The front of this coin is really pretty but the back looks like it is scratched in the same pattern but the coin doesn't look damaged. Little help for a new lady please. It's actually very pretty coin pattern.
  2. I can't get this to photograph like the color it looks in person. It seems to look kind of like a graphite gray color very shiny so it makes it photo appear lighter than it is. Just curious to know what causes coins to be this color.
  3. Thoughts on this coin? Has v in trust instead of the U.
  4. This is the double die I was referring to with it under the scope.
  5. So not worth grading? Just another piece for my collection?
  6. Can someone let me know if this is a real double die or Is this a too much zoom on the microscope making it appear to be a double die? And or tone error?
  7. My scope hasn't came in yet so I'm still using my phone. With the damage on the 2 it's hard to tell. I'm sure it's large date but didn't want to try it back in without checking. Small or large? it's 3.08 grams
  8. Looks more like it has extra on top not a scrape in the coin. Just curious what it would be called if it was in better shape because to me it definitely looks like an error not damage I know I'm new and trying to learn the difference but it would seem odd that damage would add more material to the coin.
  9. It would be that much detail left after a sander sanded on it? I would think it have a lot more micro scratches in it. Well back to hunting 😂
  10. No not surprised just started and didn't know how to tell the difference is all. What about this strange nickel? The back is normal the front is flat
  11. Are any of these the small date? I have a few that's between 3.06-3.11 grams
