I do have a question? If we coin roll Hunt, is it a waste of time to even look through rolls from the bank or anyplace else.if they are only really PD ,PM, worn and damaged coins because it sounds like if they come out of circulation they not worth it or to be graded?

Well while picking,I found this 1969d/s and which seems to be off coin planchet.yes! Worn and damaged true! Slightly doubling Obverse and reverse side building.so what do you guys think and see? I hope they good pictures

The D mintmark is over a S ! The S stick out of the top side of the D can you see that date 1838 under Lincoln corner jacket.that big S old coinage:) I did the tape test it's a small date

Yes people have endured alot,still a 1944 d over S really? No? I'm not a good photographic! Our conscious mind don't deceive us. Already know for a 1944 D penny with a S covering.if you took your time slowly to focus and you would clearly see 43 is stamped over by 44.trust I will try to take better pic. Even the mintmark you will see if you slowly pull focus  the S is there.,👍

I truly appreciate that information guys, you guys are good teacher.yes! Sometimes we want things to appear the way we see it.not knowing there's always a deeper process to the method

If everything else can be stamped over and repunch why not it can happen.if we are looking for small over large dates .the whole 43 is trailing .and yes it would be wear on it it's a 1944 penny.:)

That's good information Vkurt . because it is very hard to tell the difference from a few .to add to that is this 1970 d hard to tell yet it's a large date.look at the 9 curl to the 7

Thank you.👍 I know it's not the best looking coin, from what diagnosis is telling me that it was a small date. Yet the appearance look like a large date.so I just keep at it.thanks guys

Hello 😀 well I hope I took better pic, because as I said I really thought the nine was pointing at the 7 .now the  second 1970s is a large date.yet! The first 1970s look like it been struck over with a different 7 .. even the mint mark is out of place.maybe I'm just seeing to much I guess

I found two 1970s pennies one definitely look like it's a small because of the nine is curving towards the seven. It does look like a little Doubled if MD or not so if someone could tell me,if it's a small or what ? Thank you in advance.as well I hope all is good

I was told don't clean your coins.i had to wipe it down to see it better,as I said it just didn't look right as a zinc cent
