I've read online that the 1955 Poor mans Penny is not actually a real error. While I know this is not the famous double die penny we would all like to find, I was wondering I've read there is a variation of a double die and just wanted to make sure is it was/was not. Pictures just doesn't give justice to the roundness of the "5".

Toning? Atmosphere Damage? Hello all, This is probably not an error coin, but wanted to run it past you all. I did find a war nickel that was very dark obverse, reverse and completely around edges. I believe that was a black beauty. Just like this coin either way and was wondering.

Before I add this one to the error nots jar.....I wanted to ask your opinion if this is from a Die break, die deterioration, worn die or could it be double die with a worn die or break?

Is there some doubling or would you say die worn on this coin?

Was hoping someone would know about this striking error coin on Jefferson's nose and lips and on the reverse top on Monticello building. I have been searching many resourses and have not came across this type of error to know what to call it or even if it is a legitimate error.

Any help appreciated...

Was wondering if anyone could help me on several coins. I think this Roosevelt Dime  1970 D is a blow hole error coin? Or is it a damaged coin? And are they collectable.
