I have a 1972 Indian Head penny not in the best condition but it has an interesting color, but only on the observe side. 

I was wondering why? Is it because it wasn’t sealed?

I have an Indian Head collection and some of the pennies have a star by them. One of them being the 1864L penny.

the penny is not in the best shape so how can you tell if it’s an 1864 L penny for sure?

I tried to get a better picture of the D mint Mark. I’m pretty sure it is real. I did not buy this coin. It belongs to my father-in-law that inherited a coin collection from his great Uncle that was a bank owner/collector.

I have many coin albums and rolls of coins that were passed down to my family. 
Just to pass the time I have been looking through the rolls to find the missing coins in each album. I have also been replacing some of the coins in the albums with nicer looking coins that I have been finding in the rolls. 
At first I thought it was a good idea to replace them and now I’m starting to question this idea. 
Should I just leave the old coins alone or replace them like I have been doing?

I was looking through some proof sets and came across this 1983 set that has a interesting looking Kennedy coin. 
Kennedy’s head appears to be a gold color which is just a little different from the rest of the coin. 
Out of 34 proof sets that I have this one is the only one like this. 
Any ideas?

Im bored and decided to go through some Kennedy coins that I inherited from a Great Uncle.I have many to go through and a few 1964 unopened rolls. I don’t even know what to look for to be honest. 
Anything super special that I should look for Especially with the 1964 date?

It looks like I have 32 small date in this one roll. They must be more common than I thought.

I’m trying to complete my 1941- Lincoln Cents album but I’m having trouble learning how to identify a small date from a large on the 1960 penny.

I have looked at many images online and still can not tell a big difference.

I have found some that might be a small date.

Any ideas on a good website that can help?

Hi. I have this 1945 Mercury micro S dime, or at least it was labeled micro s by a relative that collected coins.

Hi. I found this beautiful 1955 wheat penny and I also have a roll of all new 1955 P wheat pennies that I haven’t touched. 

Do the 1955 P wheat pennies have any errors or is it just the 1955 no mint mark? 
Can you see an error on this wheat penny?

I just came across a roll of 1964-D Washington Quarters all in really nice condition. What would you grade this one pictured below? 

I have found a dozen of these Standing Liberty Half dollars with mint mark D and S in the obv. Side. Over half are in the same shape as the one pictured. What condition would you grade them? 

Sorry. I thought the doubling was only on the words FIVE CENTS.

I have what I believe is a 1913D type 2 buffalo nickel. It’s not in the best condition. The date is only visible with a magnifying glass. 
Are these really hard to find In fine condition?
