  1. So I translated the reverse. It says: “in memory of the elimination of Russia” but in Russian. Is that a political satire?
  2. Do I not bleed red blood just like you? I have a little saying that seems to provide a manifestation of your current intention so advice says to choose your words wisely, your thoughts graciously, or your perils poorly. SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY CREEPS. SOMEONE SORRY THIS WAY WEEPS. SOMEONE’S FREEDOM THIS WAY KEEPS. choose your own way
  3. I found a matte proof 63 5 dollar gold coin minted between 1908-1929. I do not have the cash on hand to purchase it😞. I feel like a bad person for saying this but the seller is unaware of its value and asking standard denomination price. Would someone be willing to buy it and split the profit with me? Take is about 4 grand a piece and the regular issue denomination of the year type is in high demand selling at $750 above asking. If so email me at ratzie33@gmail.com with your info and a written statement of intention. Once we figure out the numbers I’ll give you the link, decide for yourself if it’s a matte proof or not. If you don’t think so, no big deal. Thanks for your time everyone and happy hunting! James
  4. Look at the elegant, wavering shape of the lettering, and doubling compared with the proof 70, like the designer was trying to make up his mind about the finer specificity of elements.
  5. Here’s another. How do we account for the raised elevation, and thickness, and overall detailed texture when compared with dcam proof 70’s?
  6. On the special proof the earth is much thicker and far more detailed.
  7. First picture is of the SP Ike. The ridges have a flare thin line at the crest, and are sharper. The beginning of each ridge line at the edge has a steep angle. Second picture: a gold plated Ike. Notice the difference in the uniformity of color, the flat dull ridges. The edge of each ridge has a rolled appearance.
  8. Although I must say your criticism helps me look at the coin in a new way.
  9. Looking at a 360 of the rim suggests the golden color to be built into the core of the coin.
  10. Thank you for your correction about the mini moon. You’re right it is the earth, however the depth of field on the device is outstanding.
  11. At first I was subject to think rainbow toning, however the solid gold gold color of the large moon landing on the reverse struck me as inconsistent with toning. Again the serif doubling is heavy, apparent, and almost tripled on the upper left circle of the O.
  12. I do respect your opinion, so I would love to see it bolstered by your evidentiary knowledge as well. No sarcasm intended.
  13. Copper core is very defined at the end of the clip.
