  1. Taking a closer look at the coin, I did find this. It's just like some sort of oxidation correct?
  2. Unless it was on the wrong plancet
  3. No actual silver for penny correct? That's my question
  4. Dont you mean steel? I've never heard of a silver penny at all.
  5. Bad lighting sorry. Used my phone for pics
  6. Never thought I would do it, but broke down and bought the 2000s quarter set. Proof. Look good to you? Didnt look for any errors or anything, they are just pretty coins.
  7. Do you not mean last year for steel strike; or am I mistaken? It is I very well maybe mistaken. I was just wanting clarification please and ty.
  8. I have never seen a business strike as nice as this one, for its age. Along with a proof for that matter unless it was still in plastic or in a small showcase box set online. Hope this time I asked the right questions, because I recieved all positive responses.
  9. That's where they intend to go, more or less. Have my coins I am keeping indefinitely in the plastic cases so they don't move. Have to keep the past preserved right?
  10. Ty all for the comments. Hope you didnt "waste" your time looking at these pennies. All responses were most helpful.
  11. Ty Karen. I certainly will. Either way though they are beautiful coins. Probably keep them even if there is an error. 2 64s full red. Couldn't ask for much more from just 2 pennies. Especially that year, plus to have 2 different strikes, just makes my day
  12. That's why I asked. I needed some confirmation as to my own thoughts.
  13. Even if both are just regular pennies, they are both in great shape. Good to add to my collection.
  14. Were the proofs made in philly at the time? I thought they would have come from SF.
  15. Very nice set. And ty for be honest and open to give me an insight.
  16. SMS or business strike? 2 different coins.
  17. Not any questions. I just thought it was neat to find them in some coins I had already checked
  18. Just wanted to show you what I found. Some may even be considered a fed/red-brown. Thoughts or comments please. (WITHOUT ANY NRGATIVITY) please. I dont like it, or too blurry; I can understand.
  19. 1951, and 2 53"s found them in pennies I had already looked through. 1st one I will get a better pic of.
  20. As per the Gov't, should they weigh 2,5 or 3.1?
  21. I will find the 63 d and make a new post of it. Sound good? May take me a few days though as I have probably close to 3500 pennies in different containers in my room
  22. Thank you for all the helpful info. I didnt want to zoom in too close with scope as some people find it wrong to do; I'm sure everyone knows who I'm referring to. So first pics were with phone only. Sorry for blurriness.
  23. Upom further inspection with scope and not phone, it is in fact a WAM. My apologies.
