I don't see doubling anywhere, and I don't know what a "trail die" is.

Remember: there are fewer participants on this forum than most other coin forums, and that sometimes means longer wait times to get answers to your questions.

Oh ok. I didn't mean to rush anyone. Won't happen again. I'm sorry. Thank you for your research sir.

  2. Odd marking in the o shape around the side of the coin. The columns look like they might be doubled very

lightly. The part that looks rubbed off I have no idea how this coin came to be but its in great condition otherwise.

Am I seeing things? Sarcasm doesn't transfer to print. My bad.     Please advise ??? Thanks guys

  3. Hi, found some old pennies that are from a dew decades or more past. I hate error's!

They give me a headache so I'll only ask a couple of times lol. 1982 P has a couple of O like marks to your left of the columns?  Error ? Trail? Nothing- probably?

It was cool just finding them because some of them are in great condition. Thank you guys.

  4. This coin was taped in an coin assortment of silver on a piece of heavy plastic.

There are a lot of scratches as pictured. Discoloration on the neck.  The mirror area is flat on this side

but the details of the coin seem decent? Have a few others but they are mostly the same condition.

Any thoughts on its condition? It's good for melt value. Happy 4th! Thanks

  5. I should have been more specific in my original post. Collecting is for fun to me. I guess I was just asking relatively speaking, if any of the gold coins have a more inherent value beyond melt for rarity etc. that aren't super expensive to buy when prices are more reasonable?

I'm thinking of an uncirculated $10 Indian Head coin. I really like that coins style. Maybe I answered my own question here.

Thanks very much for your response.
