I was a bit disappointed that the Registry did not include Braided Hair Large Cents (1839-1857) Complete Variety Set.  I originally started out just collecting 1852 varieties, but found some to be nearly impossible to find in decent condition.  So I started purchasing other dates/varieties that met my standards.

    I know that completing such a set is nearly impossible, probably the work of a lifetime, if you are wanting the best or as best as you can afford.  It would be wonderful to see such a competitive set listed for anyone like myself that enjoys this particular large cent type.

    Anyone thought of collecting something like this?  This definitely would be a good set for someone starting early in life.  For myself, at 69, I never expect to get much more than maybe a 10th of the entire dates/varieties.  For now I am stuck with doing a year set.  CaleyAnn
