  1. Pretty coin, but it is a Baby Dime.......not a Dime.
  2. I just got this Baby Dime for my 7070 Variety Type Set......
  3. Not much help on the Steve Crane Collection. He didn't even show the MPD that is in the CPG.
  4. Thanks for the info. Do you have a link to the LSCC website?
  5. I just purchased this pretty little Baby Dime for my 7070 Type Set. I am trying to use as many Variety coins as I can. What first brought my attention to this coin is the die crack on reverse from A in STATES to and thru OF. Then I noticed that the MPD 301 has the same D/C. So I looked in the CPG to check the MPD. It looks to me that the misplaced digits in the 301 are in a different location than on mine. Is it possible that another MPD would have the same reverse? Not being a Half Dime collector I am not that familiar with the different varieties. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a pic of the coin with a blow-up of the area in question.
  6. Pretty Morgan........But that is just a Baby Dime.
  7. Thanks. I am pretty sure that is what I did, but will try again later tonight.
  8. When you put a pic in a post here is it like PCGS where the pic is actually stored here or is it like CoinTalk where you have to put it somewhere else and link to it?
  9. I don't know what is going on. I loaded it to the thread and it shows on my PC, but nowhere else??
  10. Is everyone seeing the pic of my 1803 Dime. I see it on my Desk Computer, but on my Laptop it does not show....only a failed link.
  11. Picked up this 1803 Dime only AG3, but is JR4 R5. Nice for grade!
  12. All 3 of my 1905-S Dimes are Obv-2 Rev-3. My eyes already hurt.
  13. Skip you ole dog......I see you are still mess'in with folks.
  14. I thought this was very interesting and informative ........ of course Barber Dimes are one of my favorite series and I am a Variety Nut.... as you can see by my Barber Dimes Complete Variety Set on PCGS and my Showcase of other Varieties not in the PCGS Sets which is also on PCGS Registry. I am always lookingfor RPD's & RPM's. I was aware of these design changes, but have never seen enough info to clearly tell the difference until this thread. Well done! I will have to check and see which varieties I have and then start looking for the ones I don't have.
  15. Hi Larry! My guess by pic only is AU55. Nice coin and much better date.
  16. You are correct. It is a JR7 which is a R2. I personally think it will grade. Good luck on your submission.
  17. It's hard to beat Wild Turkey for a smooth going down kicka$$ drink! Just say'in.
  18. To me that should not keep it from grading. Old Bust coins are allowed some imperfections. Like Mark said though......it is a slight distraction. I will look it up and see what JR # it is.
  19. Looks very nice. My guess from pic would be 40-50. Do you collect by JR Number?
