Hello, my coins are currently being graded and I noticed that one of my coins is listed with the wrong variety. It's listed as FS 103, but the correct variety is FS 106, will this be corrected before the coins are shipped out? I called a couple of times and they said they left a note on my order. Thanks.

The real trick will be getting it to go as high as 63.
i'll be sure to update this chain when i send it in, thank you

The front of the coin looks like it was dipped, I could wrong, but I would guess maybe the toning is real and the two lines were rubber bands wrapped around them... if it wasn’t cleaned maybe it would grade XF45?

Keep in mind that really sweet-looking 1880-S Morgans are close to ubiquitous. There won't be much premium even if it were to get the PL designation. Same with 1904-O and several other dates.
does it look like a VAM 9 large S?

actually the population for 62-64 MSPL is sort of low compared to just a MS grade, i think it's worth having it graded. the price doubles from a MS63-64 to a MSPL63-64.

I don't think it will. Send it in and let us know!

A PL Morgan should have a mirror like field that you can see a reflection from 2-4 inches. I don't see that from the picture supplied but you can test it yourself.
heres a video, any thoughts now?

I don’t THINK SO, but please understand that determining that from a still photo is a fool’s errand. This PL thing requires “motion” to hazard any sort of guess.
here's a video, does this help?

I sent in a Morgan silver dollar to be graded. It came back as cleaned, I did not do it. Is there a way to save cost of grading, shipping, handing of a coin that you would not want graded if you knew it was cleaned?
can i see it?

What’s the best option for shipping a submission back to myself? I used the usps optional last time and it was very aggravating and stressful. It was impossible to speak to someone and when I finally did they didn’t know where exactly in the post office it was.

can anybody lend a hand? sent it to be graded

It looks like toning to me.
He gave it to you? Did he offer an explanation?
He didn’t give an explanation, I guess he wants to keep me as a customer. I was shocked because to my beginner eyes it looks like a fabulous uncir coin

Those are not cleaning marks above the bonnet, they are die polish marks which was
done at the mint … usually acceptable for collecting standards.
The facial detractor is a bad one for me too - 63 sounds good to me too
No its not PL its a Nice typical 81 s strike - nice coin.
So the blackness by the plur isn’t toning? That was first assumption, I offered $40 for the coin and the dealer gave it to me for free.

in my personal opinion i think the first coin and third coin are great quality and beautiful toning. I've found that toning is great for these coins and to be cautious of any coins that are too clean. I think you did ok at $90 for all three, 30 a piece. i'm no expert and a beginner myself. I refer to this book a lot when considering value and which specific mint mark to go after.

Why is it so difficult to give me a straight answer about this? I called 2 weeks ago and I've spoken to 3 agents and no one can reassure me that it will be corrected. We spend a lot of money to have our coins graded. This is subpar customer service.
