  1. I have an 1883-CC with some of the same clashes. It's hard to tell from your pictures but is there a small dash under the second 8 in the date? You'll need your loup to see it, unless you have really good vision! I agree with Bobby. Check out Vamworld.com and they have some great reference material and pictures. Also, check the Variety Plus page on the main NGC website to see what varieties they will attribute to your coins.

  2. Completed a couple of deals this month with 2 CS members.

Wdrob- Excellent coin! Great guy to buy from. Very easy to work with and no run-arounds! Very straight forward. Thanks Bill!

Jwc- Great buyer. Sent me a PM concerning a recent listing amd made a deal in the same night! Sent payment as soon as he received my invoice. Doesn't get much better than that! I hope he enjoys his purchase! Thanks Jerry!

  3. Just got this one back from NGC today. It's graded XF40. It's not as nice as some of the better pieces I've seen so far on this thread, but it is special to me because this is the first coin graded XF40, according to the NGC Population Census. I think this is a nice example of a circulated coin that still shows some good details. For those who would like to see the Cert. Page, the number is 2598005-007.

  4. I'm piecing together 4 sets right now, just picking up coins for each set as I can find them. If I can afford 2 or 3 coins at one time, I jump on it. Otherwise, I'll buy one coin in a higher grade for the Trade, Morgan or Peace set. I'm putting together a Walker set, a Trade dollar set, a Morgan set and a Peace set! I definitely have my hands full but it's something I plan to accomplish over a long span of time. I'm hoping I can complete my Walker set in the next year or two.
