I guess after settling down I can wait for my coins to be graded. These are uncirculated Franklins so not overly valuable. I have just started collecting Franklins and was hoping to get them back in a reasonable amount of time so I can see how well I can grade these. For the enormous stacks of coins to be graded at NGC, my concern is if there is some sort of unseen pressure that could occur to grade coins quicker that occurs and as such, not as good of quality. I want mine graded with the quality I am used to. I do not want to trade the wait for quality.
I am throwing in one of my new Morgan dollars. One of my favorites (MS 67+).

I sent in two submissions that tracking shows were delivered August 10. NGC has not even opened them yet (almost one month). Their site says they are presently opening submissions received the week of July 31. So my standard grading submission will probably be done sometime late November. Glad I did not pay for express grading.

I am fairly new to collecting, have been collecting only for a few years. I am very new to this message board, however, I have learned a lot from reading the posts. I have mainly been collecting Morgans and have been buying larger lots of BU. I go through them and have the better ones graded (MS 63 and up). I have a fair stock pile of BU that so far is just a growing investment, however at my age I am thinking of starting to sell some of the BU. These are mainly MS 61-62. These are all raw and I have screened off an many cleaned or doctored coins as I can find. Does any one have some ideas of where I could get the best deal for selling these? Obviously if I had them all graded it would be better, but that would cost me too much.
I Like Ike .

I really did and still do like Ike himself. When I was very young my Dad was in the highway patrol. He was assigned as one of the motor guard for Ike in a parade. Dad was riding a motorcycle alongside Ike’s car when a bee flew up the cuff on my Dad’s glove and stung him. He lost control of the cycle and tipped over. He was not hurt but embarrassed. Ike had his car stopped and got out to check on my Dad.
