Great copper there! Nice red 2 cent pieces are hard to find. And welcome to the forums.

Here's my new pick-up from Mark Feld
Nice example!

But, don't be even thinking about stealing nice Early Commemoratives from Mark. That's my game!
Well I had my eye on another commem he was offering but it was gone by the time I emailed him. Maybe you were the one that swiped it from me

Nice Texas there (thumbs u
I recently started a classic commem type set as well. Here's my new pick-up from Mark Feld's latest offerings. It's got a very nice cartwheel luster over great toning. The blue on the reverse really makes it seem that the ship is sailing the open water

BKW, I love that one! I have two of the #8 in my collection (one MS65, one MS68). It's a gorgeous design! (thumbs u
I recently found out about these medals and decided to add this one to a set I'm compiling that commemorates the Civil War. Looks like I'll have to add #20, Appomattox, at some point too

Another Heraldic Art Medal (No. 8). Civil War Centennial 1861-1961. NGC MS68. Sterling Silver.

Posted here before but not for a long while. Part of a US Major Design Type Set I am slowly working on (and slowly is an understatment )

Thanks everyone! Got that one at the Parsippany coin show.

Another Peace Dollar for the group. Part of several coins I recently purchased; but the only one I have a picture of so far.

I like the coin, but that is the ugliest bust of Lincoln I have ever seen (even given that Lincoln wasn't attractive).
Yeah, I am not a big fan of it either (and the proof looks worse ). I think it is supposed to be the view you would get of Lincoln if you were standing directly at the base of Lincoln's statue at the Lincoln Memorial in DC and looked up. Frankly, I bought it solely for the reverse and I wish they holdered it with the reverse side facing front.

Latest addition to my Civil War custom set of tokens and commems. Not a big fan of the obverse (where are Mr. Lincoln's shoulders?) but love the reverse. In MS70:

When I saw this piece, I had to purchase it. Thanks again Stefanie (a/k/a coinsarefun) for negotiating and conducting business with me!
PCGS MS62

Very nice Token
What year is it
Alan
Since the date is not on it, I'm not sure there is a way to know for sure. These tokens could have been made in multiple years. NGC simply dates it 1861-1865, the years of the Civil War.

Token number 2 for my CWT set. I am going to collect at least one from every state and then, well...who knows where I'll end up.

Here's my newest set of groovy tokens and medals, courtesy of Stef:
