Congrats Ron on finally finding that 1892.
Boiler, Great patterns once again have you ever thought of getting your collection pedigreed?
-
I love it when Boiler post pictures
What pattern is that 1865 IHC? 404, 405, 406, 406A?

I think Boiler could just start a museum and charge admission for people to come see all those great coins.

Coin + superman....can it get any better
Coming from you I figured the comment would be something like.
The only way it could be better is if it had some sweet toning.

Awesome 1870 here is another one

Sorry about that, I just saw a pattern was posted so I thought I would post some also. I didn't realize the rules were so strict it had to be a IHC pattern.
Here is a 3CS to get things back on track.

Here's a few more patterns for you. Nothing like the ones Mark has but I like them
Some of these will show 2 or more photos of the same coin just taken at different angles. I have 3 more but no photos of them yet. I will post them once I get them.

both very nice boiler

What the heck is that Boiler? Looks like a CN 1865? Pattern coin I'm assuming. Even looks to be whiter than CN.
I can't tell if it is a plain or reeded edge. Is it a Judd 404, 405 or maybe 406?

love those 2 & 3 centers Dwaine

Dont know a lot about the history. It is a Judd 1769
The Judd 10th edition says the following
Obverse : Charles E Barber's design. At the center is a shield, across which is a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY, incused. Crossed poles behind support a liberty cap and an eagle. E PLURIBUS UNUM above. 1896 below, seven stars left, six right, all within a circle of dots.
Reverse: Olive wreath enclosing 1 CENT. Around the boarder inside a circle of dots is UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
