Your IP address was used on CT in the past. Maybe you opened an account on CT in the past?

You never said you were banned. Now I understand the hate you have for the site. It's strange that new members post questions there everyday and don't get banned.
One thing is for sure. You and the mods are the only ones that will ever know the truth of why you were banned. Just for the record, I post stupid questions over there all the time. I guess I'm just lucky.

No. After being here for 21 years, I'll stay. After 16 years on CT and 25 years on CU/PCGS, I'll stay there as well. I don't make up stuff. If I post something, you can bet it's the truth. Posting false information will never be cool on any of the sites and members will correct any false information.

So you have not been there in years and you tell others to have some self respect and not go there. You know nothing about the site, the mods or the owner. Everything you posted is false. I'll guess someone there hurt you feelings and you can't get over it. Grow up and post the truth or don't post.

There seems to be something in common with those that can't login over on CT. Many have posted that they forgot their user name or password and try to create a new user name. That's a big no no over there. They can track IPs and ban you for life if you get caught. I may be wrong but I'm thinking that CU has the same policy. They do not want anyone having more than one user name.
I don't know if this is true but many have said that if you cant login you can't contact anyone, including any of the mods. That's a problem if true.

I acquired this nice AU coin in 2012 as an upgrade for a more worn example for about $102.
    1869

This coin just grades Choice Very Fine and was purchased in 2011 for about $34, also as an upgrade for a well-worn piece from many years earlier. Though common, these are harder to find than the earlier dates.
    1870

It can be difficult to find a nice example of this date, the first with a mintage of below one million (861,250). This one just grades Very Good to Fine (VG 10) or so and was purchased in 2013 for $25 as an upgrade to a piece with Good details and polished to an unnatural brilliance from my days as a young collector. A collector I know who is trying to put together an uncirculated set of two cent pieces is having difficulty finding a suitable piece of this date.
    1871

This better date (mintage 721,250) has AU details but some obverse stains and spots. The coin actually looks better than its photos. It cost just under $100 in 2003 and was also purchased as an upgrade to a well-worn example.
    1872

This is by far the lowest mintage date (65,000) but can be found with some searching, especially in lower grades. A portion of the "WE" in the motto shows, giving this one a grade of at least Very Good, though some roughness and an area of obverse corrosion could result in a "Details" grade.  This coin cost me $130 in 1995. They list $375 in Good today.
My entire cost for this set totals approximately $675.  Although equivalent pieces would cost more today, the cost would still be quite affordable for most collectors.  Attractive uncirculated pieces, including certified Red and Brown ones, are also available at three figure prices, especially for the earlier dates. There are also many repunched dates and other die varieties in this series, making for some interesting searching and collecting.

Sadly, the internet and "social media" have enabled a class of people for whom deceit, fraud, misrepresentation and persistent lying are the core of their existence. They prey on trusting people and those with limited critical thinking skills, for profit and for reinforcement of their own distorted personalities.

They only will if they agree with the grade on the holder. However, if the two pictures you posted are of the coins you are considering sending in for designation, you can save your money. Neither would qualify for a "full ..." strike designation.

ldhair reacted to The Neophyte Numismatist in “Real” Numismatics and Internet Numismatics Share Almost Nothing in Common
What I disagree with is the distinction that one can only be a "real" numismatist by working the show circuit.  Granted, shows are fun and in-person education is always best.  However, there is a wealth of information online and to try to negate that fact is a futile pursuit.  If one is here, they are (at minimum) a mixed-model hobbyist.  Disputing this is also futile.
Why work to alienate any area of numismatics?  Graded or raw; online or in-person...I don't care one bit how another collector enjoys their coins.  I am just glad they do.
