RE Early Release

Misleading Qualification

Early Release Labels do not adhere to guidelines as to defining coins that were released early. The sole determining factor in evaluating a coins' release date is the date on the shipping order included in every package sent out by the Fullfillment Center. NGC does NOT use the date the package was sent to you as the determining factor in issuing labels. An example that I have used in the past regarding this subject was my shipment of two(2) four coin sets of 2007 Proof American Gold Eagles. My coins were shipped to me one week after they became available, I held them for 4 yrs. before I sent them for grading, they were in unopened boxes which I placed into a larger box for mailing. NGC imformed me per email that they did not qualify for Early Release Labels. The only label that should legaly be allowed on coins should be "First Graded". Any label that mentions release without taking into account the actual release date is misleading and falsely identifying a coin. Just my opinion and the sole reason why I will never buy a coin in an Early Release Label. Have a great day! MAILMAN
