Added or upgraded the Franklins

Greetings once more everyone. Have enjoyed reading all the journals of late and seeing what some have added to their collections to start the year. Today I received my submissions back to start the new year and would like to share as well. As some of you know I have been concentrating on my Franklin collection the last half of 2011 and will continue into this year. I have upgraded or added 7 Franklins today. The crown jewel of todays additions is the 1957 PF 69 Cameo. Only 16 have been graded at this level. So to add another TOP POP to this collection is very satisfying. Also I have added a 1956 Type 1. This particular Franklin is very hard to find compared to the Type 2.

My journey does not stop here though. I am continuing to look for the 53 Franklin and upgrades to what I already have but am very proud of building this set from raw coins as was my goal from the beginning. It has not only been time consuming with the late night reading,researching, and conversations but overall I think my most satisfying collection to date. I dont know of anyone else that has built their Franklin collection from scratch (raw coins) but would like to talk anytime if you did.
