and slowly chipping away!

Hi fellow Collectors,

I hope everybody enjoyed their Christmas and New Years. My family and I went down to San Francisco to spend Christmas with my brothers. It was the first time in a couple years that all 4 of my brothers and all of the kids my were able to get together. A most enjoyable and fun time! New Years was quiet for myself and my wife. We just stayed home while my girls went out enjoyed themselves. The weather was wonderful and no snow on the ground this year. My girls said the casinos did a good job with the fireworks display.

My first addition to my modern commemorative collection this year is the 1992 White House graded MS70. I found it flipping through Ebay compliling a list of coins I want to keep an eye on. It was offered at $80 BIN or best offer. He accepted $70 and with $3 for shipping...BINGO...coin in hand! I always enjoy the spur of the moment purchase.

When I entered this coin into my regisrty, I was shocked again at the huge task of acquiring a complete set of modern commemorative silver $1 in the 70 grade. I am only at 35% but slowly chipping away at it. I believe a goal of 50% in reachable this year.
