A great addition/upgrade to my collection!

Hello fellow coin collectors,

I would like to share 2 of my most recent purchases...the 2001 Buffalo Commemoratives. I am very happy to add both these 70 graded coins to my collection. They are upgrades to my 69s that I orginal purchased from the Mint. They are an awesome tribute to the buffalo nickles and the Mint real "hit one out of the park" with these commemoratives.

They are one of the most popular modern comms to ever be minted. The total amount of 500,000 coins across both the Proof and MS versions along with the coin and currency set sold out in 2 weeks! This is unheard of with the modern comms.

The National Museum of the American Indian of the Smithsonian Institution received $10 from each coin puchase for a total of $5,000,000! They sought the production of an additional 250,000 or 500,000 coins, but the Treasury Secretary denied the request. So I guess there was no chance of an increase in the numbers of the SAE 25th Anniversary set for us common folk...LMAO!!!

Also a quick thanks to NGC for adding the 20th Anniversay SAE Set to the registry along with the 25th.

Merry Christmas to everybody!
