Was fun this year...

I started out in April of this year hoping to get a complete set of Eisenhower Dollars for the Registry. Although I fell one coin short of my goal, I never imagined I would end up with the number 5 set. Other than the 1972 TYPE 2, I have decided to try and assemble a set of the highest grade for the rest of the series. I don't know if I will ever make it to #1, but that should put me at the highest set for NGC coins only. I don't have anything against PCGS, I guess it's kinda like the old Ford vs. Chevy train of thought. I'm kinda proud of myself for buying some Gold Eagles back when gold was between 750 and 800 dollars and selling some of it between 1600 and 1800. I never even opened the mint boxes, figured I might as well buy something else with them. So barring any unforseen setbacks, I will continue my treck up the rankings' ladder trying to reach the top rung. Everyone have a great Christmas and New Years.
