Just starting back into the Collector/Investor coin world again.

Well, I am just starting back into the coin collecting/investing arena again. Just for fun and maybe to help grow some money for my wife and four year old son. Maybe he can use the coins in the future for his college, etc.

I am getting into the collecting/investing in the "slab" coins. Obviously, I joined this Collectors Society for $99.00. (Is this tax deductable?) (lol)

Anyway, I am a fan of thrid party grading, but the difference in price between the NGC and PCGS (which I have some of, but on their registry yet) is crazy. Some say that is because their system of grading is tighter. That may be true and we shall see how all of this "third party" grading systems stands the test of time. However, I am very much in favor of technical grading by third parties, I am against the "market grading" aspect of it. Tell me how the coin rates as it is in looks and quality, etc., not give me a grade on how well you think the coin will sell.

Oh well, I need to start to put some coins on here soon.

If anyone has any advice, tips, or suggestions, please let me know.
