Are you aware of the ANA-endorsed Coin Insurance offered in association with Hugh Wood Inc.?

Someone asked about a good coin insurance program and I answered via member contact. Got to thinking maybe there are others who would like the information below.

Offers an ANA-endorsed coin insurance program, insurer is AXA ART INSURANCE CORPORATION.

I elected the GOLD option, coverage is $170,000 - only have to specifically list the individual coins in collection valued at $10,000 or more. Must specify where collection is kept and how stored.

Loss of coins while being transported is limited to $50,000 - so I shouldn't take full collection out of storage, for example, to take to dealer all at once.

Cost? It was $1,187 per year for $100,000 - effective January premium is $1,445 per year for $170,000. From my perspective, this is relatively inexpensive than what I was paying through my homeowner insurance program. And the paperwork is a lot less onerous - instead of having to provide a list of each and every coin and it's serial number, I only list three coins.
