I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this. And she's in customer service? I, like the rest of you collectors, TRIED to be understanding with the extended turn around times, and wanted a somewhat small compensation. Read the E-mail trail that I had from customer service. Start from the bottom for it to make sense.

Ms. Kesten,

Thank you for the positive reinforcement (and your customer service?)

Please FORWARD THIS to Scott

Sincerely

Ms Kesten,

How about one exception to the rule. I'm glad to see that NGC has rose to the ranks of one of the most trusted coin graders, and that more and more people are sending in their coins to NGC. It's one of the reasons that I chose NGC over PCGS. I like the coin holder better for one.

But, with the amount of new customers, and customers getting longer wait times to have their coins graded vs the stated times, and now getting charged more for (most probably) the more popular services.

The first letter in my welcome packet is the price increase, but as I went through the rest of the packet, I did not see the extended turn around time letter for these services. Usually, when people raise their prices, their services are better and quicker, not sending a scarred one ounce silver coin that's graded MS68. I can understand and appreciate the hard work and the long hours the graders are putting in, but there isn't any type of concession for the delay in a stated turn around time, just an increase. Not even a free NGC coin box holder.

As I said, all I am asking is to have my only 2 French coins graded with 2 proof and indian American coins. How about an exception.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr,

Thank you for your inquiry. You would only be able to use the free coupon for either 5 Early Bird gradings on U.S. coins or 5 Standard gradings on World. You would not be able to mix U.S. and Foreign coins. You would be able to send the 2006 Eagle $1 back to NGC for an

"Appearance Review".

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

Message: Hello, I have just renewed my subscription to the collectors society, and was wondering if I can use the couponfor 3 U.S. coins and 2 French coins. They are dated 1585 and 1588, and are the only foreign coins I have...that I want graded. Also, I have recieved my 2006 Eagle $1 gift, graded MS68, but on the reverse where it says 1oz FINE SILVER ONE, it is scraped about 1/3 off the bottom of the letters. About half of the R in SILVER is gone, as is the ONE. How did this grade a MS68? And, if this a MS68, then I have some that I would like to send back for a re-grade upgrade. I can send a scan of it if you would like.
